Atelier

The House of Masota is a design-led fashion label. We conceive and design every piece in-house — from the initial concept and print artwork through to the final construction details — before working with specialist manufacturers to bring each design to life.

How We Work

Our process starts with a creative direction — a mood, a silhouette, a colour story. From there, our designs move through a considered development process before they reach you.

Every piece we release is something we have actively designed, not simply sourced. That means we control the prints, the graphics, the knitwear patterns, the embellishments, and the finishing details on every style.

What We Design

Print and Graphics

Our prints are created in-house and applied through screen printing, digital printing, and heat transfer processes depending on the fabric and finish required. Each print is developed as part of a seasonal or thematic direction — nothing is generic or off-the-shelf.

Knitwear

Our knitwear styles are designed stitch by stitch — from yarn selection and tension through to pattern structure and ribbing detail. We work with knitting specialists who execute our specifications to produce finished garments that meet our standards.

Embellishment and Detailing

Embroidery placements, badge applications, label design, and finishing details are all decided and signed off by our design team before production begins. The small details are where character lives.

Silhouette and Construction

We develop our own patterns and silhouettes each season. Cut, proportion, and fit are reviewed at the sampling stage and refined before any style goes into production.

From Concept to Customer

  1. Creative direction — mood, references, palette, and theme are established
  2. Design development — sketches, print artwork, and construction specifications are created
  3. Sampling — prototypes are produced and reviewed for fit, finish, and quality
  4. Refinement — adjustments are made before approving for production
  5. Production — approved styles go to our manufacturing partners
  6. Quality review — finished goods are reviewed before being made available to customers

Our Manufacturing Partners

We work with specialist manufacturers whose capabilities match what our designs require. We do not own a factory — we design, and we partner with people who are skilled at making. This allows us to focus on creative quality while working with producers who are experts in their craft.

The Creative Standard

Every style on our site has been through our design and approval process. If it carries The House of Masota name, it is something we chose, shaped, and stand behind.
