Sustainability

This page outlines our approach to sustainability and how you as a customer can play a part.

Our Approach

We are a retailer, not a manufacturer. We do not control how the products we sell are made. What we can control is what we choose to stock, how we operate, and the information we share with our customers.

We are committed to being honest about where we are on this journey — we are not a certified sustainable brand, and we will not claim to be. What we will do is make considered decisions where we can and be transparent about our limitations.

What We Are Working On

  • Prioritising brands and suppliers who provide clear information about their materials and supply chains
  • Reducing packaging waste in our fulfilment process
  • Avoiding overordering and holding excess stock that ends up discounted or disposed of
  • Continuing to review and improve as better options become available to us

How You Can Help — Donate Your Preloved Clothing

One of the most impactful things anyone can do for sustainability is extend the life of clothing that already exists. Fast fashion waste is one of the largest contributors to landfill globally — and the solution starts with what’s already in your wardrobe.

If you have clothing you no longer wear, please consider donating rather than discarding:

Where to Donate in Australia

  • Salvos Stores (Salvation Army) — accept clothing, shoes, and accessories in reasonable condition. Drop off at any Salvos store or collection bin. salvosstores.com.au
  • Vinnies (St Vincent de Paul) — accept preloved clothing and homewares. Find your nearest drop-off point at vinnies.org.au
  • Red Cross Op Shops — donate clothing at any Red Cross shop nationwide. redcross.org.au/opshops
  • H&M Garment Collecting — accepts any brand of clothing and textiles in any condition, including worn or torn items. Drop off in-store.
  • Upparel — an Australian textile recycling service that accepts clothing too worn to donate. upparel.com.au

Sell or Swap Preloved

  • Depop, Poshmark, eBay — sell items you no longer wear and give them a new home
  • Facebook Marketplace — a quick and free way to pass on clothing locally
  • The RealReal, Vestiaire Collective — for higher-end or designer pieces
  • Organise a clothing swap with friends — free, social, and nothing goes to waste

Tips Before You Donate

  • Wash items before donating where possible — it helps charities process donations faster
  • Items do not need to be perfect — charities can often find use for items that are worn or faded
  • Textiles that are too damaged to wear can still be recycled via services like Upparel rather than going to landfill

Small Habits, Big Impact

  • Buy only what you need and will wear
  • Care for your clothing properly so it lasts longer — see our Care & Repair guide
  • Repair before replacing — a small fix can add years to a garment
  • Choose quality over quantity where your budget allows
